Google requires that all new apps use Google Play Billing Library v5 from 1 August 2023: https://developer.android.com/google/play/billing/deprecation-faq

Even today, the latest version of v4 is needed: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/thread/216778894/unsupported-play-billing-version-upgrade-to-5 Our demo uses v4.0 which is now rejected:

We've detected that this app uses an unsupported version of Play Billing. Please upgrade to Billing Library version 5 or newer to publish this app.
