On Mac OS X status tips for actions display in the status bar when menu item is closed

      Reproduce with the attached example.

      When you click the File/New menu item, the status bar continues to show the status tip for the menu item (after the menu is removed) - it should be cleared. (Pressing the toolbar button for this same command clears the status bar correctly when the mouse moves away from the button.)
