password characters getting deleted automatically in QLineEdit

      When I use QLineEdit on Qt/Symbian and set the "echoMode" property to "Password", it works well on emulator but on the N97 device any password character gets deleted automatically.
      I have attached the source code as well as the self signed sisx(Qt 4.6.2) which showcases this problem.
