Layer Effects on ListView prevent proper clipping

Having a layer effect (e.g. a drop shadow) enabled on a ListView prevents the list view items from properly clipping when leaving the view port.

In the MWE you can toogle the layer effect. With the effect enabled, the last item surpasses the red line and is visible outside the viewport. If you disabled the effect the item clips and is not visible beyond the red line.
