This is a feature request.

Nowadays modern systems provide the ability to show and control current user's system media playback status. For example, there are MPRIS API under Linux desktop which many Desktop Environments already integrated with its API, on Windows there are SystemMediaTransportControls APIs for this purpose, on Android and web there are MediaSession APIs, on macOS there are related support as well.

Qt as a cross-platform solution, could be great to introduce the ability to integrated with such system APIs
