QML Viewer disables automatic rotation on Symbian and lets developer either listen sensor API or runtime.orientation property to implement the orientation transition they want. Problem this creates is that from platform perspective the orientation is then always locked to portrait, and any input panel requests will open portrait ITU-T input panel over the application user interface.
