Description:

The areas are supposed to change the appearance of the cursor, but these changes seem inconsistent. (see the video attached)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Run the T_cursor manual test
2. Try to switch from the different areas to change the cursor

Expected behavior:

The cursor should change based on the areas it is in.
Observed behavior:

The cursor does change, but this is not consistent and sometimes the monkey (custom cursor) appears in the forbidden or in the wait area and so on.
Special notes:

The custom area seems to be the most inconsistent. *

Top is custom, left is forbidden and right is wait. *
