Request for Official Non-English Documentation for Qt
Description
Hello Qt Documentation Team,
I am writing to bring to your attention an important aspect of the Qt framework that could significantly enhance its global accessibility and usability. Currently, the official documentation for Qt is available exclusively in English. While this serves a large portion of the developer community, there is a notable absence of official documentation in other languages.
The lack of multilingual documentation presents a considerable barrier to many developers whose primary language is not English. While there are third-party websites offering translated documentation, these are often not regularly updated and may not always accurately reflect the latest changes and features in Qt. This situation can lead to misunderstandings and a less efficient learning and development process for non-English speakers.
Multilingual documentation would not only help non-English speaking developers to better utilize Qt but also contribute to its growth and development by engaging a wider audience.
I understand that translating and maintaining documentation in multiple languages is a significant undertaking. However, even a phased approach, starting with a few major languages, could make a substantial difference. Alternatively, community contributions for translations, if properly coordinated and reviewed, could be a viable solution to this challenge.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
