I use 3x 2560x1440 monitors in portrait mode. The defaults for Qt Designer produce lots of unused space by default in this configuration. Here's a screenshot of how bad it is.

      • This example is 1420 pixels wide
      • Widget Box defaults to about 85 pixels
      • Object Inspector and Property Inspector are docked and default to 155 pixels
      • There's a void of 565 pixels to the right of my form
      • Docking them to the bottom doesn't work much better

I would like Qt Designer to better manage screen real estate. Allow the dockable regions to consume more space if there's room and minimum widths aren't satisfied yet.
