windows: Plugging in external monitor causes Window to lose window frame

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    • Windows

    Description

To reproduce, run Qt Quick example and plug in external monitor. Another way to reproduce is to hibernate and wake the machine

On some systems this causes the window frame to disappear and window content to appear in top left corner where normally the window frame would be, therefore any interaction with it has an offset.

Resizing the window seems to fix this state.

Attached is qtdiag from a system where this occurs.

Happens only when D3D RHI backend is used.
