    • Maemo 5 (PR1.2) on N900, QT version 4.6.2~git20100310-0maemo1+0m5

    Description

The QProgressBar in Maemo 5 has unnecessary blank space above and below the actual bar. It is so only in the Maemo5 style. In the Plastique style, for example, there is no padding. I was unable to get rid of it by setting the contentsMargins property or anything else I could find in the documentation.

This is fine when displayed next to a button, for example, but if its just standalone, it takes up precious space on the small N900 screen.

Let me know if you need additional info or screenshots, I'd have to modify my code to take them. I think the explanation is enough.
