Device: Samsung Galaxy S22 13.0, Pixel 3a 12.0

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open declarative camera example or widgets app example
2. Take the picture of the object that is close to the camera
3. Try to take the picure of the object which is far from the camera

Expected: The object is focused automatically before the picture is taken.

Actual: The object is blured, the AF does not work.

Reproducibility:  100%
