AnimationController does not work with SequentialAnimation properly

If I have an AnimationController with a SequentialAnimation that consists of a PauseAnimation, a NumberAnimation and a final PauseAnimation, the AnimationController wont function correctly.

In the attached gif notice that the animated value correctly updates to 2000 once instantly when it should smoothly transition between 0 and 2000 for the middle third of the slider. The value also does not revert if I move the slider back.
