    • Resolution: Cannot Reproduce
    • P2: Important
    • 5.0.0
    • 4.7.1
    • GUI: Text handling
    • None
    • Tested on linux with latest qt4.7 checkout. Bug is also present on older versions.

    Description

      To reproduce:
Go to demo application demos/textedit. Edit example.html by inserting the character 𝅘𝅥 into the title text "QTextEdit" say between Q an T. Start textedit and load example.html. A quarter note symbol appears between Q and T, but the T is doubled and the trailing "t" in "Edit" is missing which looks like "QxTTextEdi". IF you try to edit the text and move the cursor behind the quarter note symbol, cursor position seems to be off by one character.
