crash when typing followed by mouseclick into QTextEdit with Gujarati Indic Input 3 language

When user switches on Gujarati Indic Input 3 language and then does a certain sequence of actions, the Qt application crashes.

Steps to reproduce
1) download in install Gujarati Indic Input 3 language pack from https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/bhashaindia/downloads
2) run a Qt application with a QTextEdit widget
3) switch ON the Gujarati Indic Input 3

4) type on keyboard letters "lis"

5) press on keyboard arrow Down and then click with the left mouse button to the area of the text edit

Actual result

application freezes for a few seconds and then crashes

Expected result

no crash
