• Well.. you could use Android 15 as long as Google Play accepts new app and updates with SDK level 35 (required from 31st of Aug 2025 forward https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/11926878?hl=en )

Definition - what is this?

• This is Qt supporting Qt for Android apps to be build and run successfully on top of Android OS version 16 (Baklava)
• Android 16 (code name Baklava) was released in Summer 2025 10th of June https://android-developers.googleblog.com/2025/06/android-16-is-here.html 

Demarcation - what this is not?

• This work is not full support of all new APIs and FEAtures that Android 16 brings via Qt APIs. Each API will be estimated for cross-platform suitability and implemented separately.

Dependencies - what does it need? Or who needs it?

• Qt 6.8 LTS would need he formal release of Android 16.
