QFrame(Qt::Popup) does not show

How to reproduce:

• Attach a second screen to your mac.
• Arrange the screens such that the primary display is below the secondary with some offset: (In the example, the small one at the bottom is primary, you don't need 3 displays, two is enough)
• Launch Qt Creator and maximize the window
• Open a project where you can trigger auto completion.
• Trigger auto complete such that the panel should open up towards the top as it does not fit on the screen.

Expected:

• Auto complete should show up

Actual:

• An error message appear:
