      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Open the widgets gallery example or any other app with dropdowns.
      2. Run it on Raspberry Pi 4 64bit

      [2553159.857]  -> wl_surface@4.damage_buffer(26, 154, 187, 22)
      [2553159.872]  -> wl_surface@4.commit()
      The Wayland connection broke. Did the Wayland compositor die?
      quit
      Process exited with exit code 255

      Reproducibility:  100%

      It might be the dup of https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-129094 , but I'm not 100% sure, so reporting it as a separate one.
