Can't delete typed character in QML input field

This happens on Android 14 and 13 emulator, and it doesn't reproduce on Android 13 Pixel 4a.

When a characters are typed, sometimes you can't delete all of them, one or two characters are left, this might happen especially if you tap on the text input to select a cursor position.

This was reproduced on the Contacts List QML example.
