[Reg B2Qt 6.7.2 -> 6.7.3] video not played on embedded devices

      When running the multimedia/video/mediaplayer example application on embedded devices the video is not run and nothing gets displayed on screen.
      The symptoms differ depending on which target device is used. The screen might be black (imx93-11x11-lpddr4x-evk), green (apalis-imx6) or showing an empty dialog with no text and an 'OK' button (intel-skylake-64) or the application process is running on the device (checked with ps -aux), no errors are warnings are shown in the stdout/err, but the application itself is not run on the screen (raspberrypi4-64).
