Description
Qt 6.8.0 RC has jumped the minimal iOS version supported to iOS 16. If you manually lower the min version in Xcode, you get this message in console:
Sorry, "App" cannot be run on this version of iOS. Qt requires iOS 16.0.0 or later, you have iOS 15.8.1.
While Apple devices update frequently, this is an aggressive bump that leads to loss of in-use devices.
iOS 15 is only 3 years old, is still supported and received an update in just the last 90 days. It's also the final release for a number of devices.
