Description
If a developer tries to do a 6.8.x/dev Windows build following https://wiki.qt.io/Building_Qt_6_from_Git and installs the recommended MinGW 11.2, there will be a build error: https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-127989.
The solution appears to be installation of MinGW 13.1.0.
A download link to correct MinGW version should be added to https://wiki.qt.io/Building_Qt_6_from_Git.
In addition to the wiki, https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/windows-building.html also needs to be updated.
Personally, I solved the problem by using x86_64-13.1.0-release-posix-seh-ucrt-rt_v11-rev1.7z from https://github.com/niXman/mingw-builds-binaries/releases, but we should probably recommend the exact same version that the Qt Online Installer installs.
