What is the benefit? Why is this valuable?
QNX is a key RTOS for many segments, so we need to support the new version. The effort on our side appears too be modest also, in general making it possible to consider earlier availability, A key new feature in QNX 8.0 is for safety certification supporting multi-cores.

A previous work item covered TP status while this ticket tracks full support for QNX 8.0 in 6.8.x. RTOS releases are planned in general to take place in LTS releases only.

Embedded QNX usage, in e.g automotive and medical.
