    Description

      These functions are remnants of the old Qt Android Extras module: https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtandroid.html#checkPermission

      https://doc.qt.io/qt-6/qtandroidprivate.html#checkPermission currently says, "This function is under development and is subject to change."

      Rather than "under development", it is really in the process of being replaced by the QPermission API, so the documentation should point there:
