Id previous submitted a ticket about centering a QWidget / QDialog on a Wayland screen which was deemed a Wayland problem and closed.

I'd like to followup with that again if I could.

I did contact the Wayland project and was told Wayland does have the ability to center and make windows modal but you need to communicate with that system properly to achieve these things and did not elaborate how.... maybe an internal thing.

I'm hoping someone from your team could contact the Wayland folks to see if this can be corrected as none of the Windows Flags work under Ubuntu 24.04 and haven't for sometime from other postings I've read.

Not sure how big an ask this is but I would greatly appreciate any followup.

      thanks,
