Steps to reproduce:

• Tap a TextInput element to open the virtual keyboard
• Enter a few characters (works as expected).
• Tap backspace (<- button)

Nothing happens until you enter a character, move the cursor with navigation buttons (< & >) or press backspace again. Also the navigation buttons seem to update the cursor position internally, but the view isn't updated unless the navigation buttons are tapped again or a character is entered.

QLineEdit works as expected. I hope this gets high priority (or is fixed already) as it pretty much makes it impossible to release QML apps on 4.7.0 & Symbian.
