qmlls standalone: format on save behaves weird

– open the project
– move the Random.qml contents into a file
– add .vscode/settings.json the following settings

{ "editor.formatOnSave": true, "editor.formatOnSaveMode": "modificationsIfAvailable" }

Then select the all content in the file, shift them to leftest by Shift + Tab.

Cmd + S formats file in broken way.

Right click + format document formats with no issue.
