Create a stylesheet example that demonstrates how to achieve a "night-mode" effect

It would be very useful if the stylesheets examples could demonstrate some more practical uses. One example of such a use is switching an application from its normal appearance to a "night mode" appearance. This involves using darker "less intensive" and lower contrast colors in the interface so they do not cause temporary blindness when you look at a screen in an otherwise dark room.
