REG 6.7.3-> 6.8.1 No font hinting on vertical text in Noto Sans font

      Vertical text in the Not Sans font looks as it it does not get hinted (see attached screenshots and code to reproduce the problem).

       

      This problem was not present in Qt 6.7.3 and goes away when explicitly setting the font engine to FreeType or GDI. Also, the problem does not occur with fonts commonly available on the Windows platform (like Arial and Tahoma).

       

      To reproduce the problem, run the attached code under Windows while the included Noto Sans font file is two directories up from the executable.
