Description
Run QT_WAYLAND_TEXT_INPUT_PROTOCOL=zwp_text_input_v3 fcitx5-config-qt (Or konsole, kate). Focus a text field and activate the input method. Right click to get a popup menu. Press a key (e.g. letters) and you'll see the input method panel to appear.
The input method panel only appears a brief period of time and then disappear with kwin. It persists with wayfire.
