qwebview asking to connect (IAP) many times

While digging into this thread (http://developer.symbian.org/forum/showthread.php?t=7648), we have encounter a bug with Qt 4.6.3. I have attached a short, reproducible testcase. Basically, it is just a webview which is asked to load a page. Unfortunately, it ask the use to select an IAP multiple (a dozen or so) times during the download of the webpage.

This may be related to bug 10343. The test case fails in a similar manner but bug 10343's testcase leaves the following debug information.
