The Qt Maintenance Tool has not functioned for Arm64 desktops for several months due to a call to qmake --query resulting in a Segfault. This causes the installer to exit in an error condition, wasting hours of time.
This was reported back in November 2024 on the Qt forums and received little attention from devs there. The work-around recommended in these posts only works around the installer issue but leaves you with a completely unusable Qt installation.
When can we expect the Qt provided core utilities to be fixed so that the Qt provided installer will finally work again?
