The Graph Gallery example crashes when clicking on surface graph

      Steps to reproduce:

      1. Run the graph gallery example.
      2. Switch to surface graph
      3. Select column slice in graph selection mode
      4. Select textured typography as a model
      5. Click on the graph (use also right-click to move the graph)

      Expected: The app should not crash

      Actual: The app crashes. See the attached video. Crash report attached.
