Qt has been introducing a new license server that could handle the wide variety of Qt products. License enforcement would take place by sending a query to the license server that may reside in Qt cloud or in customer premises and the license server responds with OK/NOK decision.

From Boot to Qt perspective the part of the solution that runs in the development host, the license service, needs to be integrated with Boot to Qt so that the license server can be used easily with Boot to Qt by having a license check at application build time. This ticket tracks that activity.
