Description
Screen orientation change triggers weird effect in Qt Quick application of displaying only half of the expected UI and other half of black. After the effect takes place, touching/clicking the screen returns the app to original state.
Bug viewed only on Android platform (emulator and real device), not sure if this affects other platforms as well. Android version 14 was used in both emulator and real device.
prequisites:
- Android target device, emulator or real, both do
- Qt 6.9.0 newest beta as when writing this installed
- Qt Creator and Qt for Android installed
How to reproduce:
- Go to Qt Creator and launch calqlatr example (probably other Qt Quick examples works as well)
- Build example with Qt 6.9.0
- Launch on device
- Change device orientation as many times as it takes for the bug to appear
Attaching video for reference.
