    Description

      This looks like a regression from https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-80922

      I'm using the latest Qt MaintenanceTool

      IFW Version: 4.8.0, built with Qt 6.6.0.

      My target directory was

      /ams/nobackup/pafloyd/foss/Qt

      All of the .pc files in /ams/nobackup/pafloyd/foss/Qt/6.9.0/gcc_64/lib/pkgconfig

      contain

      prefix=/home/qt/work/install
