Copying in GNOME's file picker freezes the program

      To reproduce:

      1. run the attached program in GNOME
      2. press the "open file" button
      3. type some text in the Name field
      4. select the text
      5. copy the selected text
      6. the program is now frozen for some time

      Reproduced in Ubuntu 20.04 running GNOME 3.36.9 (x11) with Qt 6.1.3 and Qt 6.8.3. KDE's and Windows' file pickers do not seem to have this issue. In a real program where I first encountered this issue, the program got stuck for significantly longer, over a minute.
