Qt WebEngine renders CSS pseudo-classes incorrectly

Problem:

Qt WebEngine fails to render some pseudo-class related CSS. You can take a look at the minimal example that is attached.

I am not deeply familiar with Web/CSS, but encountered this breaking change in the last update from Qt 6.8.2 to Qt 6.9.1. The changes I noticed affected

• checkboxes
• radio buttons
• potentially hover state of menu's

Notes:

The test example works in all standard browsers (Chrome, Safari, ..) and is also verified to work properly in Qt WebEngine on macOS.
