On Android and iOS it is possible to change the text navigation on editable components between character, word, line, sentence etc. pp.
However both platform plugins do not listen to these gestures and do not pass them to editable components like TextEdit.
QAccessibleTextInterface already has the ability to navigate text as described.
The missing link is the accessibilty plugin support.
