The New Properties section of the New Classes and Functions pages shows the names of properties with links to their locations in the API documentation, but shows incomplete type information: usually just "const".

This is because property type information is not stored in the generated index files, resulting in no data available to display.

The solution is to store minimal type information in the index files and retrieve it when reading them.
