In the text edit and line edit widgets, when you double-click on a word it selects that word. In the text edit widget, if you then drag the cursor it will select additional words as you move over them. This is not the case in the line edit. If you double click then drag, as soon as you start dragging it goes back to only selected individual characters. Even part of the word that was already selected will have the selection removed.

This is inconsistent behavior. I think that the behavior of the text edit field, selecting whole words, is better since if you wanted to select just single characters you would not double-click in the first place.

I am not entirely sure whether this is a bug or a suggestion since I don't know whether this is intended behavior or not.
