If N900 is in offline mode, QNetworkAccessManager::get() seems to return network reply which is already finished, with error 99 "Network unreachable". src/declarative/qml/qdeclarativexmlhttprequest.cpp:1146 doesn't seem to be prepared for this and onreadystatuschange is never called and it's not possible to react to situation.
