Raster engine on Mac: drawing artifacts on QPlainTextEdit

      In the Qt Creator "Compile Output" view, I regularly get drawing artifacts. In the screenshot it's below the "d" for "Nothing to be done" text. When the line is selected, the artifact disappears, but it reappears when the selection is removed.

      The underlying widget is a QPlainTextEdit.
