and another issue, which is likely to be related to the issue I have reported before.

On the XM5800, the Qt 4.7.1 networking facility also is broken. There, the problem shows itself by the phone permanentely asking to reconnect. This behaviour is shown by the qftp example, and can be seen in the video 1.

Video two shows a custom RSS reader app I am developing. There, I see just the same behavior which was not there on 4.6.x. However, the following messages get blown to the console on the PC:
[Qt Message] exception on 3 [will close the socket handle - hack]
