QML TextInput does not scroll contents when cursor moves outside the viewport

If writing text into a TextInput until the text flows outside of it, and subsequently scrolling left will eventually cause the cursor to move outside the viewport, and the contents are never scrolled into view. This should be automatically scrolled - at least it
