QML app: text input field partially or completely outside split view screen area - status pane drawing problem

Preconditions:

QML application includes many text input fields.
Part of input fields are partially or completely outside the split view screen area.

Test steps:
1. Tap the text input field that is center or bottom (=partially or completely outside the split view screen area) of the application screen.

Expected result:
Split view is opened and status pane is correctly displayed.

Actual result:
Split view is open. Status pane includes two extra, vertical lines on left and right side.
