QPdfEngine does not have a way to add a OutputIntent tag.

For a fully functional PDF based printing work flow there is a need to be able to tag the PDF spool files with an OutputIntent. OutputIntent if it exists will contain an ICC profile. In order to do this the PDF format used will need to migrate to a PDF/X format preferably PDF/X-4 or PDF/X-4p.

OpenPrinting.org is currently working on migrating Linux to a PDF based printing work flow. They are also working in conjunction with the OpenICC group to make sure that this work flow is properly color managed. Being able to specify the OutputIntent is a critical part of the work flow.
