      This concerns probably Q*Socket and QSocketNotifier.
      Windows7 (and others?) have switched to using 64bit for their descriptors.

          Bug - A problem which impairs or prevents the functions of the product. QTBUG-8275 Windows x64 uses 64bit socket descriptors but QAbstractSocket use 32bit int as socket descriptors.
