Description
With Debian Sid on x86-64 I get the mentioned warning, when I start your demo browser. This is probably caused by Debian's openssl version where SSLv2 support is removed. Could you please add a test whether the system openssl supports SSLv2 to avoid thess warnings.
Not sure if this is related but when I visit https://banking.postbank.de/ with your demo browser I get
SSL Errors:
The issuer certificate of a locally looked up certificate could not be found
The root CA certificate is not trusted for this purpose
Do you want to ignore these errors for this host?
Konqueror 4.6.3 also has this problem but Firefox works. The strange thing is that these programs show different root certificate: the names are equal but the expire dates or the serial numbers are different.
