An suggestion has been made to enhance the statistics function in Qt Linguist (menu View):
statistics about the global state of the translations:

• The total number of items to translate.
• The number of messages marked as finished and without any warning.
• The number of messages marked as finished with warnings.
• The number of obsolete messages
• The number of un-translated messages
• The number of unfinished messages without warnings
• The number of unfinished messages with warnings

This information could be useful for a translator to estimate the amount of time for work.
